Compuware appoints leading application development expert to continue strong growth in J2EEmarket

Compuware Asia-Pacific has appointed Franco Flore as Senior Product Manager for its Application Development and Integration products. Franco will drive revenue growth and thought leadership for Compuwares Uniface and OptimalJ product groups.
Prior to this position, Franco was based in Europe where he was product manager for the Uniface and OptimalJ Java/J2EE development environments. He has an in-depth working knowledge of application development and integration and solid experience in J2EE development, web services, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Model Driven Architecture (MDA).
Commenting on his role, Franco said: Compuware has had considerable success with OptimalJ since it launched into the Australian market in 2003. Ill continue to drive new sales opportunities and work with our existing customer base to help them reach their business objectives. Ultimately I want Compuware to share the same position in the development tools space as we do in the mainframe arena the clear market leader. Prior to joining Compuware, Franco worked as a Systems Analyst for First National Bank of Southern Africa and Gencor Mining institution in South Africa.
