BPO Connect Appoints Alexis Lovell to its Board of Directors

MELBOURNE, 21 January 2016 — Global business transformation provider BPO Connect today announced the appointment of Mr. Alexis Indrajith Lovell as Non-Executive Director to its global Board of Directors.

Mr. Lovell has over thirty years of experience in finance and investment banking.

He was awarded the MBE (Most Distinguished Order of the British Empire) by Her Majesty the Queen of England for services to Investment Banking. Mr. Lovell is a Chartered Management Accountant, UK. He holds a Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration.

He has served as Deputy Chairman, and; more recently, as Chairman of the Union Bank of Colombo since May 2012. He has been its Non Independent Non-Executive Director since September 2007.

He is also a Director of Associated Electrical Corporation Ltd. since December 2008. He served as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sathosa Motors Plc from June 2012 until September 2014. He has previously served as a Non-Executive Independent Director of Access Engineering Plc.
