Brisbane IT Company Supports Cancer Council Queensland

Veracity Business Solutions this year embarks on a long term partnership with Cancer Council Queensland (CCQ) which will see Veracity become a major corporate partner. Veracity has been providing IT services to CCQ for three years, and we are very pleased to be taking our support to the next level with this partnership.
Veracity will be directly supporting CCQ’s Cancer Counselling Service, which provides psychological support to people affected by cancer through counselling and Living Mindfully programs. CCQ offers face-to-face counselling in Cairns, Townsville, Gold Coast and Brisbane, as well as a monthly visiting service for people with cancer and their families in Mackay and Bundaberg, and a fortnightly visiting clinic to the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba. In 2014, CCQ’s Cancer Counselling Service provided over 3,600 hours of support to people through counselling and Living Mindfully, and supported 1,494 people across the state.
CCQ is Queensland's leading non-government, community-based organisation in cancer control. Since 1961, CCQ has focused on raising funds dedicated to eliminating cancer and reducing suffering from cancer through research, treatment, patient care, prevention and early detection.
During the partnership, Veracity will continue to provide IT Services to CCQ, one of the growing number of not-for-profit organisations that utilise Veracity’s services.
