Jitterbit’s global expansion reaches Australia

MELBOURNE, March 29, 2016 — Jitterbit, the leading provider of fast, agile integration solutions for the modern business, today announced its presence in Australia. From headquarters in Melbourne, the company will service existing and new customers across Australia and New Zealand.
 
Led by Executive Directors Andrew Henderson and Rick Lanman, Jitterbit Australia leverages an experienced technology team. Engineering is led by Steve Kerr, a Salesforce.com Technical Lead and Architect. The three share a combined 60-plus years of software industry experience at companies including Oracle, NetSuite, Akamai, Advent Software, and Jitterbit customer Virgin Australia.
 
The ANZ launch continues Jitterbit’s global expansion, with users in more than 125 countries. The company has offices throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. The Australian launch comes just in time to sponsor in the Salesforce World Tour in Melbourne on April 12.
 
Andrew Henderson also sees the launch as a catalyst for seeking new resellers in Australia and New Zealand.
 
He said “The Jitterbit platform has connected thousands of systems and will fit most customers’ integration scenarios and business process automation opportunities. So we see a great opportunity for a reseller ecosystems to be broadened now we can service without the issues associated with communications across time-zones, and can support resellers and customers locally.”

Henderson said that years of experience in dealing with integration projects involving legacy systems had given the Jitterbit Australia team expertise in recommending and implementing the right combination of technologies to connect and enhance existing systems. These technologies typically included Jitterbit. After achieving consistent success with the platform over many years, and making strong connections with Jitterbit leadership, they felt it was the right time to become part of the company.
 
He sees Jitterbit Australia providing a critical presence in rapidly growing markets where companies face many challenges common to organisations globally, including the need to digitise and accelerate operations, connect quickly to new cloud applications without losing legacy data, and being able to use the right data at the right time to make the right business decisions.
