Australian Open FootGolf awards $8,500 in Prize Money

FootGolf Australia and Jamberoo Golf Club will host the First Australian Open FootGolf. The event will take place from 26 May to 29 May and will award $8,500 in prize money.

The best Australian players will compete for a share of the prize. FootGolf Australia believes this will be a great opportunity to attract new players to this growing sport. All the Australian players who represented the country in the 2016 World Cup in Argentina are expected to be part of the competition.

The Australian Open will also showcase the best talent in the world. Matias Perrone and Sebastian Pelliccioni, two of the top 20 players in the 2016 World Cup will participate in the event. The two Argentine players will also participate in FootGolf clinics for players interested in improving their game or getting some tips from the best in the game.

The Australian Open FootGolf is one of many international competitions organised by member countries of the Federation for International FootGolf (FIFG) offering prize money. These initiatives are attracting the best talent and improving the quality of game.
