BLACK by ezard unveils red-hot autumn menu

Contemporary Australian grill, BLACK by ezard at The Star Sydney is delighted to unveil a bold and mouth-watering autumn menu, introducing new seasonal dishes and a wider selection of its famed steaks.
The new lunch and dinner menu, designed by BLACK by ezard founder, Teage Ezard and executive chef, Dany Karam, offers more choice than ever before, with 14 premium cuts of Australian grain, ration and grass-fed beef, prepared over cherry wood ash, cooked to order and served direct from the wood fired grill.

BLACK by ezard, founder, Teage Ezard, said: “We are excited to present our new menu, which makes the most of the season’s best produce and the earthy flavour of autumn.

“Our beef is hand selected based on texture, marbling and flavour, before being lightly smoked over cherry wood ashes to infuse the sweet, delicate aroma of cherry wood and being charred over the wood-burning grill.”

True to BLACK by ezard’s ethos, the menu draws on superior ingredients and expert craftsmanship to unleash a spectrum of delicate flavour combinations. Highlights include the unforgettable 1kg rib eye to share – grain fed wagyu, dry-aged for 28 days, MBS 5+.
The autumn menu also includes four signature seafood dishes, including 200g toothfish with warm cucumber and zucchini salad and chimichuri, along with daily specials cooked to order and served direct from the grill.

Other mains include handmade semolina gnocchi with green vegetables, ricotta, serrano ham and lemon dressing, as well as roasted lamb rack with smoked eggplant puree, tomato chutney, salt bush, goats cheese croquette and roasted cipollini onion.
The stylish steak house offers stunning views of the Sydney Harbour and the sparkling city skyline, while the award-winning BLACK Bar features one of Sydney’s largest international wine cellars, housing more than 850 bins.

BLACK by ezard’s expert house sommelier is always on hand to guide guests through the extensive wine, cocktail and spirit list, which features rare and one-off bottlings.
