A new HIP SIP for St Leonards Vineyard

Announcement posted by St Leonards Vineyard 02 May 2016

ST LEONARDS VINEYARD, the historic winery in the Rutherglen Wine Region, Victoria has launched a new range of compelling fortified wines.

The first wine to launch is the Tawny, which is predominantly made from Shiraz grapes. The wine has a mix of ripe berry and rancio characters on the nose from 2 - 5 years barrel maturation. On the palate there is rich fruit giving a generous mouth feel with hints of vanilla and chocolate. The wine has an attractive dry finish and is perfect with coffee and cheese or mixed into cocktails.

“HIP SIP was designed with compelling packaging to inspire the 25-35 age group” said Angela Brown, Sales and Marketing Director. “Fortified wine is not well understood by consumers but has a definite wow factor when they are enjoyed. We are hoping to capture the attention and bring new relevance to this unique wine style. The range will comprise three wines with the Muscat and Muscadelle to roll out in the coming months”.

HIP SIP Tawny (350ml) is now available at Dan Murphy’s, St Leonards Vineyard Cellar Door and online at www.stleonardswine.com.au for $20 RRP.
