Big Wave Gaming Signs New Game Distribution Deals with Skywind and Greentube

Announcement posted by Cube Capital 11 May 2016

12 games annually to Skywind & Greentube, 2 world leading distributors. Capital raising to fund scaling the team and direct deployment on social platforms (e.g. Facebook, Android and iOS)

Big Wave Gaming (“BWG”) announced the signing of agreements with Skywind and Greentube, two of the world’s leading social gaming distributors, to build and distribute 12 games annually.

Earlier this year, BWG signed a distribution deal with Xin Gaming which has strong reach to Asian players.

Demand for BWG games continues and these agreements are in addition to other channels that BWG has sold games to over the last 3 years.

Going Direct

Development and distribution of social games have been the traditional revenue source for the company. In addition to channel distribution, BWG has decided to launch its games directly to players online via Facebook and app stores for Android and iOS mobile devices.

BWG’s first direct game, called Beat Slots, was market tested on Facebook. It attracted 100,000 players during its pilot test of one month.

Beat Slots consists of 12 game modules, offering players game variety and complexity. As is the case with most social games, revenue is derived through a “freemium” model.

Capital Raising

A capital raising is underway to fund the building of the direct channel and reach end users – a global market of 1.9 billion players.

In early 2016, the company’s headquarters was moved to Singapore to be close to its game development teams in Indonesia and China.

The company's priority is to reach $10m in revenue as fast as possible and secure a share in the global social gaming market which is predicted to reach US$17.4B by 2019.

BWG has appointed Cube Capital in Sydney to manage the capital raising.
