IT’S THE FIRST EVER ‘STOCKGIVE’ SALE

Announcement posted by Smitten Pets 29 May 2016

We are all familiar with stocktake sales as they pop up every year. But this is very different!

It is around this time every year that we start getting ready for the great discounts that come from the end of financial year sales (EOYFS). The excitement brews at the thought of the savings that can be had without hurting our hip pocket nerve. At times the sales discount can be so deep that it almost feels like businesses are being a little bit charitable.

Well, this year there is a business that is being truly charitable. Specialising in designer pet products online, Smitten Pets is having a different kind of EOFYS. Rather than a stocktake sale, they are having a ‘Stockgive’ sale. But what exactly does that mean?

It means that starting 10th June, for every dollar you save on your purchases, Smitten Pets will give the equivalent value to a pet charity. Yes, you heard correctly! For example, if you saved $5 on a dog collar, then Smitten Pets will give an additional $5 to a pet charity.

Smitten Pets’ business vision is to ‘bring more joy to more pets’. Not just our pets sitting next to us on the couch, but the pets that are waiting for new homes too. Tens of thousands of unwanted animals are surrendered to animal shelters each year in Australia. Owner Amie Spengler says ‘They are exactly the same as the pets we have at home, but for some reason their previous owner couldn’t care for them. We just want to give them more love while they wait for a new family’.

‘The Stockgive sale is more than just about giving profits to charity it is also about raising awareness’. Throughout the sale Smitten Pets highlights different charities and their causes. This enables people who don’t know as much about non-profit pet organisations to learn a bit more. It also opens up peoples’ eyes to the number of beautiful pets waiting to be cared for or adopted.

So join the Smitten Pets Stockgive sale from 10th June until midnight 30th June at www.smittenpets.com.au.
