Australian online wine retailer Vinomofo are rapt with the success of their debut 48 hour pop up event that launched nationally in New Zealand on Thursday, 16th June 2016.
The first country to be part of Vinomofo’s global expansion plan, New Zealanders were given a taste of Australia’s most exciting online wine retailer with a selection of high quality wines from Australia, New Zealand and Europe at exceptional prices. Combined with a quick delivery service (1-3 days) and personalised, handwritten thank you notes, Vinomofo’s first foray into the overseas market perfectly demonstrates why it’s considered one of Australia’s most loved online wine retailers.
Thrilled with the success in New Zealand, Co-Founders Andre Eikmeier and Justin Dry have promised to bring a bigger, better and more epic Vinomofo online pop-up wine sale in 4-6 weeks. Dry commented, “We were absolutely blown away by the positive response from our first ever overseas pop-up sale and can’t wait to roll out this lite business model to Europe, Asia and the United States later on this year.
Eikmeier adds, “We’ve now got 3500 new members, our founding members in a brand new market, hopefully telling their friends about Vinomofo and the experience they’ve had, and sharing the wines they bought. It’s how we started here in Australia, when we couldn’t afford to spend anything on marketing - we just tried to make sure that the wine deals and the whole Vinomofo experience was that good that people would want to share it.”
