Asbestos Air Monitoring
If you planning renovation or demolition work to old building in a workplace that could possibly contains asbestos, air monitoring during the works is mandatory. Under the Work, Health and Safety Regulations 2011, serious legal consequences apply if you don’t have asbestos air monitoring carried out as you are putting your staff and contractors at risk.
Regional Enviroscience is NATA (the National Association of Testing Authorities) accredited for asbestos air monitoring and asbestos testing. Asbestos air monitoring is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Work, Health and Safety Regulations 2011 and we can set up a portable laboratory to provide fast results to ensure exposure risk is minimised.
In addition to asbestos air testing on site we run a complete range of asbestos analytical services, provided by our fully equipped NATA accredited laboratories and scientific staff. Asbestos laboratory services include:
- Analysis of asbestos in soils to determine the potential health exposures to airborne fibres, and the most appropriate disposal method of contaminated soil
- Air monitoring of work environments for airborne asbestos fibres
