Talent Board Brings Candidate Experience Workshops and Expanded Thought Leadership to APAC Region

Announcement posted by Talent Board 28 Jun 2016

Programme Chair Elaine Orler to Present at ATC Conference and Host Several Candidate Experience Workshop Series in Region

SYDNEY (28 June, 2016) – Talent Board, a non-profit organisation focused on the promotion and data research of a quality candidate experience, today announced a series of upcoming thought leadership appearances related to the 2016 Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards and Benchmark programme. Elaine Orler, co-founder and chairman of Talent Board, will share programme highlights at the Australasian Talent Conference, 2016 in Sydney and help organisations grasp industry best practices during three separate workshops across Australia and New Zealand.

Over the past five years, Talent Board has evaluated the practices of more than 750 companies and collected feedback from nearly a quarter of a million candidates through its regional CandE Awards programmes, in effect establishing the largest study of candidate experience of its kind and an extensive database of academically validated data. Based on in-depth surveys of employers’ recruiting practices and questionnaires of participating companies’ actual job candidates, the CandE Award programme illuminates the strategies, processes and technologies that contribute to a positive, transparent and rewarding candidate experience.

“Now in its second year, the APAC CandE Awards programme is growing quickly, indicative of the fact that employers around the world are dedicated to improving the way their organisations recruit and hire talent,” said Orler. As our growth continues, we are pleased to share thought leadership at the Australasian Talent Conference and our upcoming workshops, connecting employers across the APAC region with the talent acquisition and recruiting insight to bring their practices to the next level.”

The first of Talent Board’s appearances will be at the Australasian Talent Conference, 2016 in Sydney on Thursday 14 July, 2016. During the event, Orler is scheduled to present “Candidate Resentment Can Impact Your Bottom Line,” sharing key results from Talent Board’s global research, including the forthcoming APAC CandE Award report based on the 2015 research. In addition, Orler will provide examples and tips on how employers can optimise candidate experience to gain positive outcomes for all stakeholders.

Talent Board will host three complimentary Candidate Experience workshops, starting on Friday 15 July, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Sydney; Monday 18 July, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Melbourne; and Thursday 21 July, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Auckland.
