Announces senior leadership roles to drive and manage accelerated growth

Sydney, 6 July 2016 … Thomas Duryea Consulting, a division of global IT Solution Integrator Logicalis Group, has reported substantial growth in its business to 30 June 2016.  The company, which specialises in delivering networking, collaboration and data centre projects as well as managed services, reported double digit sales growth across the board.

“The outstanding performer is Managed Services, where extraordinary growth of 100% in the last quarter alone has capped off a very good year for the practice which has seen 70% annualised growth,” said Michael Chanter, National General Manager, Thomas Duryea.
“June has been our largest single record sales month ever, which is significant in terms of the Logicalis acquisition and the confidence customers have in the added value of the combined companies now being delivered,” Chanter said.

Over the last two years, Thomas Duryea has invested in building strategic services, such as the Consulting and Advisory practice, broadening its offerings around managed services and cloud capabilities.  The company now has the capabilities to compete for enterprise customers against large systems integrators thereby broadening the scope of services that appeal to this market.

In addition, Thomas Duryea has announced two strategic appointments to support continued expansion and growth.

Rob Mattlin has been appointed National Practice Lead for Systems Management Practice. His role is to build on the foundation of success, driving end-user transformation with Windows 10 and EMS suite from Microsoft.

David Gulli has been appointed Chief Technical Officer to lead the business in enterprise system integration across cloud, datacentre and end user compute, developing market offerings relevant to customers’ needs.

“As the business grows, we are bringing on more employees in sales, presales and consulting, boosting our customer facing headcount by more than 50% over the coming months,” Chanter said. “We’re in a strong position for continued growth and expansion, and are continually looking for the best people to join the company to support our business strategy.

“In addition, we are working hand in glove with Logicalis across a number of strategic accounts. In some cases we are delivering expertise into traditional Logicalis accounts, while they form part of offerings to our customers. In both cases, we are able to deliver a better customer outcome and a stronger business result,” Chanter said.
