Halcyon House Welcomes Guest Chef Guillaume Brahimi for Gourmet Weekend Getaway

Celebrated chef Guillaume Brahimi of two-hatted Guillaume Paddington restaurant will swap his Sydney residence for the kitchen at Halcyon House as guest chef for a winter epicure escape from Friday 12 – Sunday 14 August, 2016.

The relaxing weekend will showcase the best of Australian food and wine with gourmet-enthusiasts being treated to an up-close and personal weekend with Guillaume Brahimi and Paper Daisy’s executive chef and Noma alumni, Ben Devlin.

On the Friday evening, guests will enjoy poolside welcome drinks followed by dinner at leisure at Paper Daisy restaurant. With Ben leading the kitchen, the food is renowned for its sophisticated simplicity, producing dishes that are satisfying, thoughtful and deeply memorable.

A morning master class with Guillaume will be offered the following day, allowing guests to enjoy an intimate cooking experience, as Guillaume shares some of his favourite recipes from his book, Guillaume: Food for Family,leading up to Brahimi’s showpiece dinner on Saturday evening.
For twelve years Guillaume at Bennelong wowed diners and won almost every major accolade in Australian food, as well as international recognition. Brahimi and his acclaimed team opened their new restaurant, Guillaume, in August 2014. Guillaume also has Bistro Guillaume in Melbourne and Perth and is set to open of Bistro Guillaume Sydney this September.

Luxury package inclusions consist of: two nights’ accommodation; breakfasts both days; ‘Welcome Drinks’ on Friday night; a ‘Light Lunch’ and ‘Showpiece Dinner’ on Saturday night prepared by Guillaume Brahimi and tickets to the master class.

Package prices are for two people and start at $1900 for a Classic room, $2200 for a Superior room, $2400 for an Ocean Superior, $3000 for a Master Suite and $4400 for a Halcyon Suite for four people.
