From dirt to coin, precious metals offer real wealth in a volatile global market

Announcement posted by Symposium Events Pty Ltd 16 Jul 2016

Precious Metals Investment Symposium to provide insights into China's effect on gold market

The continued rise of China and its passion for gold has introduced a cultural revolution into investment.

China’s ambitious move to exert more control over the pricing of gold – its launch in April of the yuan-denominated price fix - has sparked concerns that the Shanghai Gold Exchange will suck up a lot of the world’s physical gold.

This year’s Precious Metals Investment Symposium in Sydney in October, whose theme is “investing for real wealth in a volatile global market”, will provide insights into the effects that China and other key players will likely have on gold.

Event organiser Kerry Stevenson said: “International speakers will join local experts at the conference, bringing together every aspect of the precious metals investment industry – explorers, producers, bullion companies, hard-asset investment vehicles, coin dealers and investors.

“From dirt to coin, the whole precious metals eco-system will be there.”

Keynote speakers will include celebrated author and investor Jayant Bhandari, and the global head of Standard Chartered Bank, Jeremy East. ASX-listed exhibitors will include Evolution Mining. For more details on the event and the speakers go to http://symposium.net.au/pmis

The Precious Metals Investment Symposium comes at a time when enthusiasm for precious metals is the highest it has been for several years, many gold companies’ share prices have doubled or more, and the Australian dollar gold price is at record highs.
