Defective Installation Of Tiles
Poor installation of wall and floor tiling is a common complaint from client's during the building process. A professional building inspector will view the tiling work to ensue it complies with Australian Standard 3958.1 and/or the manufacturer's installation instructions.
Common issues are cracked, scratched, loose or chipped tiles occurring prior to the final handover of the property. During a building inspection, all faults should be identified and submitted to the clients in a professional formatted report. The builder then has 10 days to rectify any identified issues prior to final handover.
