KHQ Lawyers is delighted to announce that Jack Stuk, a highly experienced and respected tax and structuring lawyer, has joined the firm as a principal, heading its newly established Private Wealth team.

Jack has expertise in solving difficult and complex taxation matters, and advising on taxation issues in relation to commercial transactions (such as sales and acquisitions of businesses), and business structures (including start-ups and joint ventures).  He also has extensive experience in advising on double taxation treaties and international taxation issues.

Jack is the Executive President of the National Tax Agents Association, and regularly publishes articles and insights on taxation related issues.

When asked “why KHQ”, Jack replied “The dynamic nature of the leadership team and ‘can do’ attitude in providing legal services first attracted me to KHQ Lawyers.  There’s an excitement throughout the firm, from senior leaders to administrative staff, and a clear ambition to do the best for its clients.  This professionalism and service mentality stands KHQ Lawyers apart from other firms”.

Founding director of KHQ Lawyers, David Kelly, said “We have been steadily building our private wealth capability, to ensure that we are meeting the broader needs of our clients.  Jack’s appointment is an integral part of that service offering.  We are proud to attract someone of Jack’s reputation and expertise to the team”.
