Sydney, 24 August, 2016: AUB Group Limited (ASX:AUB) total risk solutions strategy accelerates with its equity partner Altius Group today announcing the acquisition of Western Australian based injury management and psychological services business, PeopleSense Pty Ltd.
AUB Group, has long signalled its intention to expand its geographic footprint and this new acquisition by Altius Group is further evidence of progress towards its vision of becoming the leading total risk solutions partner to businesses across Australia.
PeopleSense are recent winners of the 2016 Telstra Western Australian Business of the Year award and Western Australian Small Business of the Year award. They have substantial capabilities in providing return-to-work, employee assistance program (EAP), counselling and injury prevention services. Their client base is spread across insurers, government departments, large corporations and not-for-profit organisations. The firm employs 70 allied health professionals and is one of the largest private employers of clinical psychologists in Western Australia.
