Focused alliance pays customer loyalty dividends for ICT Networks and Juniper Networks

Announcement posted by PR Deadlines 26 Sep 2016

A highly focused, long-term alliance between Sydney-based ICT Networks and Juniper Networks continues to yield dividends in terms of customer loyalty driving business expansion.

When ICT Networks launched in 2009, principals Rob Kingma and Mitch Barr already had a combined 18 years of experience using Juniper’s technology. A full reseller arrangement soon followed, and Juniper subsequently upgraded ICT to both Elite Partner and Services Partner status.

Recently ICT Networks received a second successive Juniper Partner of the Year award, a testament to its engineering expertise and focused support. Previously, ICT had also been named Juniper’s Partner of the Year for Switching in 2015, and for Security in 2014.

“We have enjoyed a fruitful relationship with ICT Networks for many years,” said Mitch Lewis, Vice President of Partners APAC at Juniper Networks. “Juniper and ICT have derived outstanding value from the continued loyalty between our relationship and our joint customers. The fact that we have such a long history to build on, gives us a foundation for the coming years to continue increasing our joint confidence, skill and capabilities. This will ensure that our customers continue to be serviced optimally.”

Although the market has undergone significant change since ICT first partnered with Juniper Networks, ICT expects that the next few years will see more radical transformation as the industry moves towards virtualisation, cloud and automation.

Rob Kingma, CEO of ICT Networks, said: “We have kept one step ahead of new technology over the years, and all of our engineers remain 100 percent focused on Juniper accounts. As our knowledge of their solutions has accumulated, our business has benefited. We have averaged double digit growth since inception. More importantly, ICT has built an enviable customer list of enterprise, government and service provider customers based on our Juniper expertise.”

ICT Networks currently builds, manages and supports networks for Australia's largest sports broadcaster, an online transaction facilitator and NSW Government services, among others.

ICT Networks’ Marketing Manager, Amanda Dark, believes the fact that the company has spent so many years as a dedicated Juniper Networks partner has given ICT a competitive advantage, as its expertise is directly related to Juniper technologies and solutions.
“Our engineers live and breathe Juniper day-in, day-out. Our commitment to ongoing Juniper training and support, coupled with a client-centric, services-focused approach,  strengthens our relationship with Juniper, which in turn directly benefits our customers,” she said.

According to Mitch, key areas of Juniper’s current product development include network security, software-defined networks (SDN), network function virtualisation (NFV) and cloud-enabled enterprise. He says that as Juniper’s technology continues to evolve, he is confident that ICT Networks will keep pace. Juniper has made a number of exciting announcements recently around automation and the growing need for enterprises and service providers to manage, deploy and secure their networks with software-like flexibility.

Rob Kingma concludes: “It is fantastic that ICT continues to be recognised for our knowledge and expertise in
the Juniper solution set, as our business expands its supplier partners.”
