Dr Mirjana Prica announced as Finalist for Telstra Business Awards

Mirjana is a trained scientist with a doctorate in physical chemistry.  Her wide-ranging Australian and overseas experience in research and business, demonstrates passion for learning and exploring new ideas.

Mirjana is now Managing Director of Food Innovation Australia Limited (FIAL), a not-for-profit organisation, established under the Federal Government’s Industry Growth Centres Initiative. In her role, Mirjana leads the development of a vision and strategy for the Australian food and agribusiness industry.

Group Executive, Media, and Chief Marketing Officer, Joe Pollard says “Now in their 22nd year, the Telstra Business Women’s Awards champion women from diverse industries, ensuring their achievements are given the recognition they deserve, and continue to raise the profile of women in business”.

Mirjana was nominated for the award by Gary Saliba, CEO, Regional Development Australia (Murray NSW). “Mirjana’s passion for innovation and progress are the driving force behind her dedication to the Food and Agribusiness Industry. She is an asset to the sector”, says Gary.

Winners of the 2016 Telstra Victorian Business Women’s Awards will be announced at a Dinner at Peninsula Docklands on Tuesday 18 October. State and Territory category winners will gather in Melbourne for the National Awards judging, culminating in a glittering Gala Dinner on the night of Wednesday 16 November 2016.
