Sugar Wax & Tan all in one appointment!

Did you know that Pharo Sugaring is the only hair removal system that allows you to have a spray tan immediately after? Summer is not far away and as the weather warms up so to does the need for bikini weather prep. Thanks to Pharo Sugaring’s natural hair removal formulations, clients no longer need to spread out waxing and tanning appointments.

“Using the Pharo cartridge system or a Pharo Warm gel pot with spatulas, hair can be removed from the client’s body just before tanning. A hair-free base also ensures a tan lasts for longer,” adds Bernadette.

The process of Sugar Wax ‘n’ Tan is simple. After sugaring, clean the skin and ensure it is completely dry before applying the Radiessence Tanning Mousse with a Radiessence Quick Tan Application Towel. Radiessence Exfoliating cloths are also available for those clients with dry skin. Allow the Radiessence mousse to dry for 10 minutes and advise the client not to shower for 2-4 hours after tanning.

The Radiessence tan typically lasts for 5-7 days but in some cases it can last up to 9 days when using the Radiessense Tan Extender daily from 24 hours after the initial tan application.

Bonita, Pharo’s expert therapist says, “This value adding treatment is not something that is possible with traditional wax. Traditional wax leaves behind a sticky residue on skin, which must be cleaned off with solvent based products that react to tanning products. Pharo gel is water based and can be cleaned off the skin with water leaving no residue behind. The pH of the Pharo Sugar Wax gel and Radiessense Instant Tanning Mousse is compatible, this is what makes the combination of these two products a match made in heaven.”
