All About Patioland

Sydney's now well known Patioland was established in 1986 by Peter Doughan,

designing and building patio enclosures and pergolas in the family garage. With only one employee back then, Peter was in charge of running the whole business himself. 

In early 1989 Patioland moved to a little rented factory at Bearing Rd, Seven Hills., and when the company grew in 1992 now employing eight staff, it was time for Peter to purchase his own factory at Vardy's Rd, Marayong where Patioland occupied these premises for 10 years. However,  with the company expanding every year it was time to purchase a larger factory at 41 Third Avenue in Blacktown. Patioland at this time employed 15 full time employees and specialised in pergolas, decks and patios, opening roofs, insulated roofing, custom awnings, timber decking and carports.

In 2005 Peter and Ann retired from the business, handing it down to their five children who now run the business on their behalf. Adam Doughan, the Manager says Patioland's commitment to striving for customer satisfaction has not changed since the early 80's. Using only the best Australian made material and employing full time employees (not subcontractors), they offer their clients the very best in service and quality materials when buying their new pergolas and gazebos , decks and patios, opening roofs, insulated roofing, patio enclosures or carports to compliment their primary asset; their home.
