Shark Shield is pleased to announce their latest sponsorship agreement with the not for profit sea-roots organisation, Surfrider Foundation Australia (SFA), dedicated to the protection and enhancement of oceans, waves and beaches for all people.
Powered through 18 branches, a strong activist network and passionate volunteers; programs are developed to support strategic goals and initiatives including clean water, beach access, preservation and wave protection the Conservation, Activism, Research and Education (CARE) system.
Barton Lynch, National Director and 1988 World Champion Surfer says, “I’ve been working with Surfrider Foundation Australia for over 20 years. Unless each of us takes responsibility to protect our oceans, the sad fact is they might not always be around for future generations to enjoy.
“Aligned with Shark Shield brand, Surfrider protects Australia’s waves for ocean-lovers through their Endangered Waves campaign, encouraging local and national action to ensure unique coastal environments are protected,” adds Lynch.
