Beyond Bank Australia is delighted to announce a $10,000 grant to Perth family support service Kalparrin.

The not-for-profit organisation provides assistance to the families of children with disabilities and special needs.

Located at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Kalparrin organises community events, family fun days and critical parent support when life gets tough.

“Parents of children with disabilities and special needs find it hard to get to inclusive community events and can feel isolated as a result,” said Carrie Clark, General Manager, Kalparrin.

“The Beyond Bank Community Grant will mean the parents Kalparrin supports can connect with other special needs families in a fun, judgement free environment.”

“The work that Kalparrin does has the ability to transform lives and the more we have learned about them the more we wanted to get involved in any way we can,” said Beyond Bank’s Perth Community Development Manger, Katie Tillson.

“It’s hard not to be impressed with the outstanding work they do and I look forward to seeing this program that is so vital to mums and dads in Perth, expand and prosper.”
