Kiandra grows Technology Services division by 54%

Kiandra IT has announced plans to increase its Technology Services workforce by 32% in Q3, to cater for the growth in demand for its services. When combined with Q2 recruitment, this equates to headcount growth of 54% over 6 months.

In Q2 the department’s headcount grew by 17% with a number of technical, managerial and project related hires. Key appointments include a new Support Services Manager, Susanna Thomas, and the creation of a new role – Head of Technology Services, filled by Jason Alexander.

Chris Munro, Director - Technology Services, Kiandra IT said that FY 2016/17 marked a year of high internal investment for Kiandra, including new people, systems and new services.

“The company’s growth reflects the evolution of Kiandra’s solution portfolio, and the internal investment required to service new contracts.”

“Demand for our services has increased significantly over the last 12 months – resulting in a 41% increase in revenue for H1 when compared to the previous corresponding period. We have picked up a number of new Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) clients including superannuation funds and insurance organisations, as well as large retail organisations, and are extending the scope of services with existing customers,” he said.

“We’re incredibly excited about our new hires, and have ramped up our focus on solutions and resources in growing areas to ensure we can continue to meet the needs of our customers. Both Jason and Susanna have the specific experience and knowledge required to help build our market share and drive our reputation as a leader in the Australian technology space,” he said.

Jason Alexander – Head of Technology Services

With a career spanning close to two decades in the IT industry, Jason has extensive experience in IT strategy development and execution, process enablement and refinement, and IT operations and service delivery. Jason has previously held senior positions with Tenix Australia.

Susanna Thomas – Support Services Manager

Susanna comes to Kiandra with a strong reputation for managing risk and service operations, leading technical teams and driving customer service. She has held leadership roles with other managed service providers including NGage Technology Group and Annitel.
