Amiya Introduces Their Range Of New Products

Announcement posted by Amiya 09 Mar 2017

Amiya is an online gift shop based in Melbourne that specialises in the sale of authentic Indian items. From homewares and bags through to jewellery and genuine Pashmina scarves, the shop has something for everyone – they even have a range of products specifically targeted towards children (including shoes and toys). Amiya was born when Anne, a true-blue Aussie girl, married Sukhbir and started spending a lot of time India – she fell in love with the unique and colourful gift items and wanted to share them with the world.

Amiya is constantly adding to and having fun with their product range, so it’s not unsurprising to see a few new items floating around the website every now and then. After a recent trip to India, a number of new items have been added to the shop, ready and waiting to be ordered.

There are some gorgeous silk and chiffon scarves, which come in all colours of the rainbow and are sure to add a pop of colour to any outfit. Another way to add some colour is with one of the stunning new bags. Available in a wide range of sizes (from clutch to extra large) and an even wider range of colours, there is sure to be something to suit everyone. Many who purchase the extra large size use them as beach bags, whilst the leather handbags are fantastic everyday bags and clutches are perfect for a night out.

In terms of homewares, a number of items have been added. There are some new elephant statues, some intricate decorative plates, a collection of ceramic incense stands and oil burners, pretty coasters, some sweet magnets to put on the fridge, and even some incense. The authentic Indian patterns and designs are unlike anything found in Australia and will add a real touch of culture to any home. The incense, in particular, is a popular buy – India is home to many scents and aromas that aren’t encountered anywhere else in the world.

A collection of notebooks have also been added to the website. These feature beautiful cotton covers in bright colours and authentic patterns. They contain handmade plain paper, which offers a lovely writing surface and is so much more authentic than the machine-made paper we use here. There are also some wooden spinning tops for kids –one has more of a rounded top, whilst the other is more of a traditional top design. Both are brightly coloured and are sure to delight children of all ages.

To browse Amiya’s range of new products, you can head to their online shop at www.amiya.com.au. Here, you can also find all the other products that they have available. Postage costs $8.95 per order, although orders over $100 receive complimentary shipping. Happy shopping!
