Coco and Max have done it again, this time dropping their Autumn/ Winter Future Wild 17. Be prepared for the unique clash of Coco's vibrant coloured women's wear, in contrast to Max's mens wear line of quirky cuts on hues of grey, black and white.

If you haven't heard of Coco and Max then you've not been circling in the underground alternative Melbourne scene of hipsters standing out in unique style, re-enforcing the importance of originality and self-expression. The garments are designed to be worn anywhere by anyone – they don't like being pigeon holed as an individual genre – yet you'll definitely stand out no matter where you are wearing these threads. The industry says its casual streetwear elevated to a new level.

And what a story to tell - Coco and Max was born when designers Tess and Andrew met while working in London. Tess has a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising - this pushed her to ' think outside' the box and fight the mainstream moulds. Andrew went to the famous Royal College of Arts and did Masters in Menswear. In his graduation collection he got nabbed by the renowned world leaders of Club wear – Cyberdog UK – and they both continued to work their as head designers, Andrew for 15 years, Tess for 5.

So in the early days of designing they transformed club-wear to streetwear, designed through the 90's rave boom, then the cyber millennium, shaping and specialising in dance and club wear, and have now decided to break free and follow their passion – finding their own voice in the fashion industry. They have elevated streetwear to a new designer level and sporty cyber threads will always be in their veins! And we forgot to mention that they've already been featured in The Age, The Herald Sun, Vogue UK, Cleo and Frankie Magazine and dressed the likes of Nicki Minaj and The Black Eyed Peas - just to name a few.

Blossoming since their Geo Pop collection in 2014, which concentrated on geometric patterns and cuts, dragonfly ponchos and humorous Max menswear prints - evolving to Wild Things 16, they are now experimenting with a futuristic fusion of animal prints on bold and dynamic cuts. The brand is best known for its innovative approach to pattern cutting and quirky in-house graphic prints - Coco's bold womenswear always plays with pop colour, in dynamic contrast to Max's menswear in monochromatic hues.

Inspired by, Where the wild things are, FUTURE WILD 17, is designed to rock your boat and take you to an imaginative world. You'll dive into a jungle of relaxed retro looks and either dazzle in wild vibrant colours, or hide in dragon scaled track pants and cyclodripped tops.

All garments are designed to give you functional comfort and are made out of top quality threads. Organic yardage printed cottons to breathe and high tech sport fabrics for any sort of action for todays confident, outward looking consumer. The masks represent the brand's philosophy against the ordinary - you'll know what I'm talking about when you shop online. Just go to cocoandmax.com.au and choose your universe.

Not only is it made from top quality fabrics, but they also care about the carbon foot prints we leave on this planet, so everything is ethically manufactured in the heart of Melbourne, reinforcing the importance of slow fashion and the future of our planet.

They now stand strong in Melbourne, and at the same time they started their own family – Coco is now 3 and Max is 1 – and yes – the label is named after their children.

So if you want to stand out in unique style, then Coco & Max is definitely for you - and have just dropped Future Wild 17 – a creative experience of clothes shopping online. Make sure you keep up to date with their latest drops and connect on social media - CocoAndMaxMelbourne
