This model has a removable Duraceramic crock insert which can be placed directly onto all cooking surfaces – electric, gas, oven and even induction. This is true one pot cooking as any recipes that require you to sear or saute meat or vegetables before setting the timer can be done on your cooktop and then placed directly into the Crock-Pot for all-day cooking. This model has a digital timer and automatic keep warm which means even if you are tied up at work or the traffic is horrendous, you know your meal won’t be over-cooked and delicious dinner will be ready and warm for you as you walk in the door.
