Sky and Space Global To Partner with WeFarm Ltd - Bringing Nano-Satellite Mobile Technology to the World’s Small-scale Farmers

- Parties to explore the integration of the SAS communication platform into WeFarm’s data sharing network

- WeFarm’s network connects farmers across Latin America through to Eastern Africa

- SAS enters the agriculture sector through its Equatorial nano-satellite constellation network, represents a new and significant commercial opportunity for the Company

Sky and Space Global Ltd (ASX: SAS, “Sky and Space Global” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with WeFarm Ltd to explore the integration of the SAS nano-satellite communication platform into WeFarm’s process of on-boarding users, who are small-scale farmers living in remote and isolated locations.

WeFarm is a free, knowledge and data sharing service that empowers farmers to connect with other farmers around the world to solve problems, share ideas and spread innovation. WeFarm estimates there are many hundreds of million small scale farmers globally who are potential users for the service.

WeFarm enables farmers to share crucial livestock and crop knowledge, low-cost farming solutions, and ask questions relating to any type of agricultural input or output without having to leave their farms – and without requiring connection to the internet. WeFarm sent over 40 million text messages this year through their network, and the Company expects this figure to grow exponentially in the near future.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sky and Space Global will help WeFarm to enhance mobile network coverage and connectivity for WeFarm’s users, through integrating Sky and Space Global technology and Equatorial nano-satellite constellation platform together with the WeFarm data sharing services for its users.

Sky and Space Global’s CEO, Mr. Meir Moalem said:
