Lionel Richie to thrill fans in exclusive live show at The Star Event Centre

The Star Sydney is thrilled to announce multi-platinum-selling artist and multiple Grammy Award®-winner Lionel Richie will perform an exclusive up close and personal live show as part of his national ‘All The Hits Tour’ on Tuesday, 3 October at The Star E

An international music icon, Richie will perform his mega-hits “Endless Love,” “Lady,” “Truly,” “All Night Long (All Night),” “Penny Lover,” “Stuck On You,” “Hello,” “Say You, Say Me,” “Dancing on the Ceiling,” and “We Are The World,” as part of his six-city Australian tour.

With more than 100 million albums sold worldwide, an Oscar, Golden Globe, and four Grammy awards under his belt, plus the distinction of MusiCares person of the year in 2016, Richie is a true music legend who has become part of the fabric of pop music.

His song catalogue also includes his early work with The Commodores, where he developed a ground-breaking style that defied genre categories, penning smashes such as “Three Times A Lady,” “Still,” and “Easy.”

“I can’t wait to bring my All the Hits tour to Australia! I’ll be performing an up-close-and-personal show at The Star Event Centre just for my Sydney fans this October. We’re going to have a great time together,” said Richie.

The Star’s General Manager of Marketing and Entertainment, Melinda Madigan said this was a rare opportunity to experience the most unique and intimate performance of the Tour by the talented artist.

“Having a renowned and critically acclaimed artist like Lionel Richie perform at the award winning Star Event Centre is incredibly exciting and with only 3,000 tickets to go on sale, it is guaranteed to be a truly special and intimate show.

Tickets for his live and exclusive performance at The Star Event Centre are on sale from 2.00pm on Monday, 19 June via www.ticketek.com.au and are sure to sell out fast. Prices range from $109.00 to $349.00. A special pre-sale for The Star show is available for members of The Star Club from Friday 16 Jun, 2pm AEST to Sun 18 Jun, 10pm AEST.
