Chateau Architects + Builders Share Their New Custom Home Build in the Heart of St Ives in Sydney’s North
For the next few months, we will walk through the build of one of our stunning St Ives custom home builds. We really showcased our craft with this build that features a more traditional, full-brick build to accommodate the needs of a growing family. To give you a quick visual, below you can see the before-and-after shots. The contrast you cannot put into words; or can you? We will try to do it justice by diving into the finer details of the build in five parts
Let’s paint the picture for you now for Part I of our series. Our client is a small family; parents are both professionals within the medical industry and they have two young boys with potentially more in the near future. They approached Chateau because they want to remain in the area for the local schools, shops, community but most of all they want to remain close to family and friends.
They knew that we specialised in custom home builds and it suited their situation perfectly – a luxury custom home build by Chateau!
Our client told us that they wanted a high quality home to live in for years to come but also to meet the needs of a growing family. Usually, modern homes are built with timber between the ground and second storey however, they wanted a more traditional full brick/solid construction throughout the external and internal parts of the home.
Our architects put together some final drawings of the house to submit to the council (included in price) before approval. We take control of this part of the process because it can be time-consuming and emotionally tiring when dealing with the council. Once the final plans have been approved demolition (also included in price) will begin; followed by excavation (which is also included in the price) of the site in preparation for the build to begin!
