ATDEC WALL MOUNTS DESIGNED TO COMPLEMENT NEW GENERATION PLASMAS AND LCDS

Announcement posted by Atdec Pty Ltd 12 May 2005

Australian-designed visual display mounting systems combine looks, strength and compatibility with the latest flat panel screens
Aesthetics, strength and safety were key criteria for Australian designer and manufacturer, Atdec Pty Limited, when developing two new additions to its Telehook range of visual display mounting systems.
Its obvious from our experience as a partner of key audio/visual organisations such as NEC, Hitachi, Fujitsu, Samsung, LG, BenQ Sharp and IBM, and the proliferation of lifestyle books and magazines, that Australian corporate and home design is undergoing great change, said Atdecs Managing Director, Stephen Crozier. More and more, consumers are looking for ways to safely, securely and attractively show off their state-of-the-art, sleek and slim TVs and monitors.
In the past, systems for mounting flat panel TVs and LCDs have left a lot to be desired in terms of aesthetics, said Mr Crozier. At Atdec, our in-house designers are aware how much dcor plays a part in todays corporate and home environments and the new Telehook products reflect that market trend. They complement the sleek appearance of the flat panel world while retaining the strength required to support heavy, valuable equipment.
Often, the plasma or LCD TV is one of the most expensive business or household equipment purchases so its vital the mounting system can securely support this investment, said Mr Crozier. Our products are durable, long-lasting and adhere to stringent strength and safety standards.
Between them, the two new Atdec visual display mounting systems will hold virtually every size LCD and flat panel display from 12 to 55 (30cm to 140cm) so prospective buyers need only visit one retail outlet, rather than many.
The Telehook 12-30 Multi is three products in one. It can mount LCD and plasma flat panel displays from 12 to 30 (30cm to 76 cm) in size flat against the wall, or on a single swing arm, or on an articulated swing arm. The versatile, Telehook Multi is ideal for use in the home, office, boat or mobile home. It suits all VESA-compliant flat panel displays with 3 x 3 (75mm x 75mm), 4 x 4 (100mm x 100mm) and 4 x 8 (100mm x 200mm) hole patterns, and supports up to 18kgs (39 lbs) in weight.
The super slim design of Telehook 31-55TW enables the rear of the display to be mounted just 2 2/3 (60mm) from the wall. It suits almost all LCD and plasma flat panel displays from 31 to 55 (78cm to 140cm) with both VESA and non-VESA-compliant hole patterns. Ideal for commercial and domestic applications such as retail, hospitality and home theatre, the product supports units of up to 60kgs (132 lbs) in weight mounted on masonry, timber studs or dry walls. It also features an adjustable tilt feature offering a range from -5 to +10 degrees. The theft-resistant design includes a security tool.
The Telehook units include hardware, cable management, a five-year warranty and are quick and easy to install.
As I mentioned before, we partner with most of the key AV organisations such as NEC, Hitachi, Fujitsu, Samsung, LG, BenQ, Sharp and IBM designing equipment to suit their individual products. These relationships and our own research keep us informed of worldwide trends ensuring our products meet consumer demand and emerging technology requirements, added Mr Crozier.
