Melbourne Paraplanning, a new Australian-based Paraplanning Services company, reached a milestone this month of 18 months in business.

The company produces Statements of Advice for a range of Financial Planning practices across Australia.

Originally based in Collins St in the Melbourne CBD the company has now relocated to the Northern suburbs of Melbourne.

All communication with clients is done via telephone and email.

The company has built a customised workflow system which enables the efficient handling of workflow and invoicing.

Melbourne Paraplanning specialises in higher-end Financial Plans, and uses the XPLAN Financial Planning software.

Pricing of SOA's is based on the number of strategy recommendations in the plan, as this closely correlates to the amount of time required to produce the document.

The company is managed by the principal, Mark McIlroy.

Mark's qualifications include a Masters of Financial Planning. He has been involved in the Financial Planning industry since 2015, after initially commencing his career in Information Technology roles in the Financial Services and Government sectors in Australia.
