StorageTek appoints Sam Sprinivasan professional services development manager

StorageTek (Storage Technology Corp., NYSE:STK), the storage services and solutions expert, has appointed Sam Srinivasan to the new position of Professional Services Development Manager for Australia and New Zealand.
In this new role, Srinivasan is responsible for developing services portfolio with the goal of further expanding StorageTek's growing professional services business within Australia and New Zealand.
"The focus of my efforts is working with customers to understand their information management problems and develop services solutions to address those problems," said Srinivasan. Particular focus areas include Information Lifecycle Management; Storage Resource Management; project and program management; end-to-end performance management and managed storage services.

Srinivasan joins StorageTek with over a decade's experience with IT companies including Data General, Geac and Marconi. He has worked in markets including North America, Asia and Europe in a variety of roles including project management, sales & marketing, and management. Srinivasan is also an experienced conference presenter, speaking on the use of IT to enhance business process reengineering and deliver improved customer satisfaction.
