EMC and Commander sign reseller agreement
EMC Corporation continued its aggressive drive into the mid-tier market with the announcement today of the appointment of Commander as a partner for EMC's CLARiiON CX line of products throughout Australia.
Commander, a strong player in the voice and data space, has half a million customers with a growing requirement for entry-level SAN and NAS systems. Commander's data business generates strong revenue, 10 per cent of which is slated for storage sales.
David Henderson, General Manager Partners and Alliance, EMC Australia and New Zealand said, "This partnership is a significant step in EMC's uncompromising push into the SME space. Commander has a strong presence in the SME market that has been earned through proficiency and continued growth.
