Frost & Sullivan Australia kicks off its 2007 research program

Frost & Sullivan Australia has kicked off its 2007 research program with company profiles of key vendors in the Digital Media Advertising, Unified Communications and Enterprise Outsourcing markets.

“Our three dedicated ICT research programs this year have the unique focus of covering high growth markets, where change is disrupting established infrastructures and business models,” says Frost & Sullivan Australia ICT research director, Mr Darryl Nelson.

The programs will also focus on the most important vertical industry markets within those three ICT sectors. Unified Communications and Enterprise Outsourcing will focus on market trends, adoption patterns and key end user issues within the banking & finance, government and healthcare industries. The Digital Media Advertising program will focus on the key advertiser industries of travel & accommodation, banking & finance, high technology and automotive.

“We’ve recognized that historically, ICT research in Australia has lacked strong vertical focus, outside of the telecoms industry, and our clients have confirmed the need for this approach,” adds Mr Nelson.

The first reports published within these new vertically aligned programs are company profiles of the key industry players in each market: Google Australia (digital media), IBM Australia (outsourcing) and Cisco Australia (UC). “Our strategic insight reports will highlight key players and emerging trends and solutions across each market, providing our clients with additional views of these markets and our leading evaluation of key growth issues facing market players,” notes Mr Nelson.

The full contents for each program will comprise three main quarterly studies plus ten monthly strategic insight reports, as well as customer surveys focused in each of the main vertical industries.
