Frost & Sullivan Analyst Briefing: SOA

Announcement posted by Frost & Sullivan 06 Mar 2007

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a new trend which often means many things to many people. While the intended benefits for businesses are business agility, business – IT alignment and better management of the IT environment, there is considerable skepticism amongst many, given that there is no standard approach and it is still in its infancy. To add to this, vendors seem to be more focused on selling products, or just branding their existing products as SOA.

This briefing will discuss lessons that can be learnt from some of the SOA deployments. It will also highlight some of the key trends in Asia Pacific based on our end user research.
