D-Link’s New High-Performance Router Creates High Speed Wireless Network

D-Link Wireless 150 Router Supports Wireless 150 and 802.11n/g/b for Under $100

The DIR-600 provides a high speed connection to other Wireless 150 or 802.11n devices and is backward compatible with 802.11g/b. This ensures compatibility with a broad range of wireless devices, supporting the latest high speed wireless standards and older wireless technologies. The DIR-600 also includes four Ethernet ports ready to connect Ethernet-enabled PCs, print servers or other devices – and connect to a broadband modem to wirelessly share a high-speed Internet connection.

With the D-Link Quick Router Setup Wizard, users can set up a wireless network in minutes. The wizard helps install the new hardware, connect to a network, add new devices and configures Internet Service Provider (ISP) settings to quickly establish broadband Internet connectivity. The DIR-600 is Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) certified, making it even easier to configure wireless network and enable security.

When it comes to security, the DIR-600 includes a built-in firewall that safeguards the network from harmful attacks. The Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall analyses network traffic, and includes parental control features that prevent users from viewing inappropriate content. The DIR-600 also supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption to keep network traffic secure.
