Dimension Data Wins 28 Awards at 2010 Cisco Partner Summit

Dimension Data announced today that it is the recipient of a Cisco Partner Summit global award for European and Emerging Markets Enterprise Partner of the Year. Cisco unveiled the winners on 28 April at its annual channel partner conference in San Francisco.
The objective of Cisco’s Partner Summit global awards is to recognise exemplary channel partners whose business best practices Cisco would like other partners to model. Categories include: innovative practices, applications successes, unique programs, problem solving and sales approaches. All winners are selected by a group of Cisco Worldwide Channels and regional theatre executives.

In addition to the Global Enterprise Partner of the Year award, Dimension Data received 27 theatre, country and regional awards. Dimension Data Europe received nine awards including theater Borderless Network Partner of the Year in the United Kingdom; Dimension Data U.S. and Canada won five awards; Dimension Data and Datacraft in Asia-Pacific won three awards; and Emerging Markets received 10 awards across LATAM, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Emerging East, Emerging Central (North Africa & Levant), and the Czech Republic.
Cisco Partner Summit awards are presented at three levels: regional, theatre and global. Cisco Partner Summit global awards reflect a partner’s commendable performance within a specific technology market across several geographic regions.
