Fortinet Extends Multithreat Security to Small Offices

Zealand availability of the FortiGate®-30B, a multi-threat security device that
offers powerful network protection commonly used by large organisations, at a
price affordable to small businesses.
Designed
to be suitable for the smallest office environments, the FortiGate-30B provides
integrated security in an easy to install, compact desktop form factor.
Fortinet has also introduced the FortiWifi-30B to deliver in-depth security for
small offices needing wireless LAN connectivity.

The
FortiGate-30B and FortiWifi-30B can be centrally managed, making it easy for
larger businesses to provide secure remotely managed environments for employees
working from home, or in small office locations. Internet Service Providers can
readily provide a wide range of fully managed security services to customers by
deploying FortiGate-30B and FortiWifi-30B at customer locations.
The FortiWifi-30B adds a built-in wireless access point to
the broad, multi-threat protection of FortiGate appliances, making it ideal for
small remote offices, retail outlets and teleworking environments. It offers
standard 802.11 b/g support, a Wide Area Network (WAN) port for securing Internet
connections, and four integrated Ethernet switch ports.
Pricing and Availability
Fortinet products are distributed in Australia by Ingram Micro, WhiteGold Solutions and Firewall Systems. Australian pricing for the FortiGate-30B starts from $375 ex GST, with the FortiWifi-30B starting from $495 ex GST.
Fortinet products are distributed in New Zealand by Ingram Micro and Firewall Systems. New Zealand pricing for the FortiGate-30 starts from $475 ex GST, with the FortiWifi-30B starting from $650 ex GST.
