Inaugural 'Collaborative Christmas Party'

Luxury Tastings launched in October this year, a leader in the experience industry for all things gastronomy. Being inspired by Sydney's strong women in business culture, on her journey to starting her new business, founder Alexx Stuart decided she wanted to create a contribution to the network using her expertise. "There is such a buzz in start up and micro business land at the moment. I have been supported and welcomed by so many incredible women this year, I just had to do something. So I chose to do what I do best, and create a party to celebrate 2011 together: A collaborative Christmas party for us all instead of people toasting their computer screens and partners!"

The party is for start up, solopreneur and small business women to all come together and celebrate in a big way. The party will be at an exclusive pop up space in Sydney's Rocks, undisclosed at this stage, on the 6th December, at 7pm.

Already attending are well known entrepreneur Cindy Luken, famed for the creation of Luken and May biscuits and soon to launch "Luk Beautifood", Julia Bickerstaff, of Kochie's Business Builder's fame & CEO of the Business Bakery, Ghazaleh Liari, founder and CEO of Ghermez Cupcakes, Janine Garner, founder and CEO of both Script Marketing and Little Black Dress Group and many more. "The women attending are in essence the crme de la crme of Sydney women in micro business. We have champagne on arrival, the finest canaps, tasting features around the room, gift bags full of goodies, amazing prizes with our charity raffle - we're pulling out all the stops for the guests! It's a special night."

While the idea was conceived by Alexx Stuart, the party is able to exist at the ticket price it does ($95), due to the support of key people. "While I know how to create wow factor with food and drinks, in the domain of PR and Events, I wanted to have a partner. Enter Liana Lorenzato, Director of LSquared Ink, PR & Event Marketing agency who shall be instrumental in the successful promotion of the party to our audience and sponsors to come. Also collaborating is 'Imagine Create' Creative Agency, thanks to Director Maria Lizunova. This is the birth of a yearly gala event, and is therefore a brand with its own personality and Maria shall be giving the event signature branding, soon to be released."
