Kaseya Announces First Local User Group in Auckland

User community to nurture managed services expertise in New Zealand

Kaseya has been continuously investing in education and training for our MSP partners across the ANZ region, and the formation of our first New Zealand user group is the next step of supporting our local customer community.

Auckland – August 31, 2010 – Kaseya, the leading global provider of IT systems management software, announced today the launch of a local user group in New Zealand. The user group will nurture collaboration between MSPs (Managed Services Providers) and grow the level of expertise in the local managed services community.

Ryan Spillane from Correct Solutions and Jeremy Hunt from Fisheye Technology will host the inaugural meeting in Auckland on September 10. Kaseya's CEO Gerald Blackie, who hails from New Zealand himself, will be in the country to discuss Kaseya’s road map and update local MSP partners with the latest company news and product features.

Kaseya’s New Zealand user group represents a chance for MSPs to meet other Kaseya partners and to learn from them, exchange ideas and build relationships with a positive impact on their business.

According to Tim Dickinson, Regional Director for Kaseya in New Zealand and Australia, the level of interest in Kaseya’s Australian user groups reaffirmed the company’s plan to initiate the first meeting in New Zealand. More than 160 companies attended the recently held user group meetings in Sydney and Melbourne.

Dickinson said: “We’ve been continuously investing in education and training for our MSP partners across the ANZ region, and the formation of our first New Zealand user group is the next step of supporting our local customer community.

Through this unique collaborative environment, our MSP partners will be able to capitalise on the expertise of Kaseya and their peers.”

With more than 450 MSP partners in the ANZ region, Kaseya is a strong supporter of an integrated partner community.

Managed services have been gaining ground in New Zealand, as IT service providers move away from a break / fix business model, to monthly service agreements with recurring revenue.

Datamonitor forecasts the revenue opportunity in the New Zealand IT services market to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.1% over the 2009-14 period.
