OBS heads West
Leading Australian IT Services company OBS, has launched into the West Australian market with the opening of its Perth office. OBS specialises in helping organisations transform their business with Microsoft technology.
To help address the shortage of skilled Microsoft SharePoint resources in the Perth market, OBS will be relocating existing experienced developers, project managers and business development managers from the eastern states. OBS is also in the process of attracting a strong contingent of local talent who are looking to work with a company that is widely celebrated as a great place to work.
“Having a local office in Perth means that we are able to provide enhanced services and support to our Perth based customers, “ said Andy Neumann, Managing Director OBS. “We will be providing a full array of OBS expertise in the Perth office and are intent on making a strong entry into the local market.
The addition of a Perth office completes the national expansion of OBS into all major capital cities.
OBS is 100% Microsoft focused with over 300 customers throughout Australia, including many ASX500 and major public organisations. Backed by Macquarie Capital, OBS is forecasted to grow strongly in FY12 as organisations continue to invest in key technologies such as Microsoft SharePoint.
Perth based CITIC Pacific Mining, has already engaged OBS to design, develop and implement an Enterprise Document and Record Management System based on Microsoft’s SharePoint 2010 platform.
“It’s great to have OBS making such a commitment to the local Perth market”, said Steve McNally, State Director WA, Microsoft. “OBS’s presence is a testament to WA’s leadership in technology and will support the local market growth.”
BRW Magazine has awarded OBS as one of Australia Top 10 Places to Work for the last 3 years.
