Principals creates Mallesons’ Facebook page to engage law graduates
Mallesons Stephen Jaques, one of the leading law firms in theAsia Pacific region, has launched a Facebook page to help recruit potential summer clerks and graduates.
Their social media strategy, developed by branding agency Principals, aims to help candidates to get a real sense of what the firm cares about, reveal career opportunities and display the firm's culture - all through starting conversations with law students.
Sam Garner, Graduate Resourcing Manager, said: " Facebook is a natural place to engage law students: it’s where they spend a lot of time and a key source for information. The Mallesons Facebook page provides a new place for students to ask questions, share information and experiences and see inside the firm.”
"And Principals have both the experience of our brand from previous work together, plus the digital expertise to develop the strategy and execute it online."
Tessa Shaw, Strategy Director at Principals said: “‘The Real Deal’ really sums up what the Mallesons Facebook page is all about. It’s about creating a genuine experience of Mallesons and about having an authentic presence in social media. Mallesons are there as themselves.”
“At Principals, we’re in the business of building brands people can believe in, so we’re really excited to have helped Mallesons define the role Facebook plays in telling their brand story and start a richer conversation with law students.”
On Thursday May 12th, Mallesons was the first Australian top-tier law firm to launch a Facebook page.
