PURPLE HEN WINES TROPHY WINNING 2009 SHIRAZ RELEASED

The Purple Hen 2009 Shiraz has now been released.

This wine won the Gippsland Wine of the Year in at the Gippsland Wine Show 2010 as well as winning a gold medal at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show in 2010.

Purple Hen has won several trophies over the past few years for its Pinot Noir but this is the first year that its Shiraz has been so significantly gonged.

‘Our Shiraz has been growing in complexity and intensity from year to year and it’s great to get recognition for it.’ said owner Rick Lacey.

Purple Hen is a small winery located on a beautiful little peninsula on Phillip Island.
