Sydney, May 24, 2012 – ViDM Group (Ventures in Digital Media), the APAC specialist in international advertising technologies, has appointed Claire Anstee as General Manager – Digital Services, for Amplify, its digital services division.
Based in VIDM’s Sydney regional headquarters, Ms Anstee leads a team of digital strategy staff, marketing and media operations staff to deliver digital strategy consulting, marketing and technology services to large national and international brands, such as Webjet, RealEstate.com.au and Trading Post. Her remit is to increase Amplify’s strategic client engagement base and to cement Amplify as one of Australia’s most innovative digital services companies.
Before joining Amplify, she held the position of Commercial Director at dgm Australia for five years with responsibility for the business development team, analysis of new revenue streams and leading all competitive pitches and RFP responses. Prior to dgm Australia, she was employed by Orange (part of France Telecom) initially as Senior Business Development Manager, then as Senior Product Manager working on cross-platform search tools, local search and dating products.
With 13 years spent working in online businesses, including Lycos Europe, 192.com and Passado (now Wasabi), Ms Anstee has extensive experience in all forms of digital marketing including SEO/PPC/social, mobile, affiliate, conversion management, display and data-driven marketing with skills in technology, product development, business development, procurement, brand and product launch. This experience spans various vertical sectors including finance, dating, auto, ecommerce, travel, telco, social networks, and auctions.
Ms Anstee holds a BSc Honours in Zoology with Physiology from Royal Holloway, University of London. She also runs a website, boutiqueaccessories.com.au, which has Australia’s first Virtual Mirror (a practical use of Augmented Reality to improve the customer experience). She was a finalist in the Online Retail Industry Awards (ORIAs) in both the Best New Online Retail and Most Innovative Online Retail award categories 2011.
