Ex-Wolfmother bassist Chris Ross is one of the facilitators of the program, supporting and mentoring adults on the autism spectrum to create their own music.  Developed in early 2014, ‘Club Weld’ brings together emerging musicians with autism and professional musicians in a supportive environment to build confidence, develop musical knowledge, skills and experiences, share stories, nurture creative talents and come together to forge relationships.  “Club Weld is a unique program made possible because of the skills and talents of the adults with autism who attend. In every session, Club Weld sees difference and talents ‘welded together’ to create music. It has created great opportunities for people on the spectrum.” said Sam Worrad, Club Weld Facilitator.
