The Brisbane based all trades company, known today as RTL Trades, began in 1948 as Reynolds, Trezona and Lister or 'RTL Plumbing'. RTL Plumbing was started by three mates, Alf Reynolds, Len Trezona and Graham Lister. RTL Trades has now been based in Brisbane Southside suburb of Bulimba for over 70 years. Ben L’Estrange acquired the business in 2004 at which time the Team was made up of 3 maintenance plumbers. Ben was then joined by his wife, Kate, in 2009. In 2010, RTL established a Construction division with the aim of servicing the greater Brisbane region. Fast forward to 2018, Ben and Kate have grown the business to be a reliable, experienced and trustworthy team of more than 90 personnel. Since 1948 the company has established a large and loyal customer base, through offering that personal service only a family run business can provide. Ben and Kate, along with previous owners, have always fostered a hard-working, fun loving culture of learning and belonging. Incidentally, many of our customers are long standing and have even used our plumbing services for over 60 years.
