SterilTube Australia was created by Imagine Solutions to import and sell SterilTube devices that are unique in the application of UVC light to deactivate microorganisms such as virus and bacteria, mould and dust mites, including Corona Virus. The SterilTube was created by Giuliano Regonesi, an Italian author and entrepreneur, and CEO of Noor UVC Technologies. Specifically he targeted to solve two major problems associated with viral spread: 1, to combat aerosol spread in rooms, not the heavier droplets that would hit the ground, but the tiny particles that remain in the air for hours after being exhaled, and 2, how to use UVC without adversely harming humans in the area of infection. The result is the SterilTube. Simple, yet genius. Using airflow and encasing the UVC light in a material and structural design preventing UVC rays affecting people, yet deactivating the harmful microorganisms by breaking the DNA that enable them to reproduce. Additional benefits, by making it harmless to humans, allowing people to be in the area during operation, means better productivity, lower cost of cleaning equipment and products, no nasty smelling chemicals and that all makes it environmentally friendly. He extended the design to incorporate innovative LED UVC lights running at the highest performing power at 265nm, not using hazardous, mercury-based bulbs and designing the device and packaging of 100% recyclable materials.
