LegalVision announces UK and US expansion plans

Announcement posted by LegalVision 08 Nov 2021

LegalVision, Asia-Pacific’s fastest-growing law firm and 2021 Law Firm of the Year, has announced plans to expand its operations into the UK and US. The firm will open the doors to its UK office in early 2022 and has begun offering US legal advice to its Australian and New Zealand members through its new partnership with BizCounsel.

LegalVision’s membership model is the first of its kind in the legal industry and has radically transformed the way businesses engage lawyers. The membership offers clients unlimited legal services for a low monthly fee, including legal advice consultations and contracts.

“The membership uptake from our clients has far exceeded our expectations. Businesses now have a team of experienced lawyers at their fingertips, without needing to worry about hourly rates nor fixed fees,” said Lachlan McKnight, LegalVision CEO.

“We’ve demonstrated success with this innovative model in Australia and New Zealand, and we’re ready to take it global. The UK market is three times the size of Australia’s market and ripe for us to come in and transform the legal services market.”

A team of lawyers will join Mr McKnight as well as Head of Marketing and Partnerships, Anthony Lieu, to move and launch the operations in the UK. The firm has set up an office in Manchester but will attract lawyers across England and Wales looking to work remotely.

The firm has also partnered with BizCounsel, a leading US legal services provider, to deliver a seamless experience for Australian and New Zealand members seeking US legal advice for their business. For businesses that plan to expand to the US or already operate there, their LegalVision membership can now be extended to cover all US business law needs.

“With the US membership add-on, businesses now have access to a team of US attorneys who are on-hand to provide business law advice whenever they need it,” Lieu said.

“Businesses no longer need to worry about legal fees or finding different law firms for different jobs, especially in every country they operate in. Instead, they can focus on growing their business. No matter whether you’re in Auckland, Sydney, Los Angeles or London, you now have access to an experienced legal team at your service.”
